Wolf Creek Construction delivers turnkey EV charging lot installation across South Florida, from raw site to first charge. As a commercial EV charging station installation contractor and licensed CGC and CUC, we self-perform the civil and underground package: earthwork, trenching, duct banks, transformer and equipment pads, drainage, paving, and striping. Two delivery models are available: full turnkey, where Wolf Creek primes the project and coordinates licensed electrical and charger partners, or a civil-only package as the site subcontractor to your charging network installer. We build for both Level 2 and DC fast charging. Level 2 chargers run on 208 to 240 volt service and suit workplaces, HOAs, and destination lots. DC fast chargers run on 480 volt three phase power, often require a dedicated transformer and utility service upgrade, and suit fleets and high-traffic public sites. We coordinate FPL EVolution make-ready credits and utility applications so the site is ready when the chargers arrive.

How long does it take to build an EV charging lot?

A straightforward Level 2 installation can complete construction in a few weeks. Projects requiring utility service upgrades commonly run several months, with transformer lead times and permit review driving the schedule. We file permitting and utility applications early so construction never waits on paperwork.

Are there rebates or credits for EV charging in Florida?

Yes. FPL's EVolution Make-Ready Credit program offers up to $1,200 per Level 2 port and up to $50,000 per DC fast charging port toward utility-side infrastructure, subject to program availability and pre-approval before construction begins. Federal tax credits may also apply in eligible areas. We coordinate the utility paperwork as part of the project.

What is the difference between Level 2 and DC fast charging?

Level 2 chargers use 208 to 240 volt AC power and add roughly 20 to 40 miles of range per hour, making them right for workplaces, HOAs, and destination lots where vehicles park for hours. DC fast chargers use 480 volt three phase power and deliver a substantial charge in 20 to 40 minutes, at a much higher installed cost, suiting fleets and high-traffic public sites.

Do EV charging stalls have ADA requirements?

Yes. Accessible EV charging spaces require access aisles, an accessible route to the charger, and controls within reach range, with at least one van-accessible space. Wolf Creek builds the striping, signage, and stall geometry to meet accessibility requirements and pass inspection.

Can Wolf Creek work as a subcontractor to our charging network installer?

Yes. We regularly partner with EV charging network contractors and electrical subs, delivering the complete civil package (trenching, conduit, pads, drainage, paving, and striping), so their crews can focus on the electrical and charger equipment scope.
